Accessibility statement
The Ark-La-Tex Gazette is for everyone in the Ark-La-Tex. We want every reader to be able to use it.
What we aim for
We build the site to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA: readable text and contrast, pages you can use with a keyboard, descriptive links and headings, text alternatives for images, and layouts that work on phones and at larger text sizes.
Known limits
We have not yet had the site audited by an outside accessibility reviewer. Some older stories may have photographs without descriptions, and video and audio from partners may not have captions or transcripts. We are working to close these gaps.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, or you need a story in another format, please tell us what page you were on and what went wrong, using our contact form. We will respond and work to fix it.
